Bihar Museum is proud to present a captivating photography exhibition titled “Brasilia 60+” from June 22nd to July 21st as a curtain raiser to the Bihar Museum Biennale, 2023. This exhibition pays tribute to the notable achievements of Brasilia, the capital city of Brazil, as it celebrates 200 years of independence. Through the lens of Leonardo Finotti, a Brazilian artist and one of the leading architectural photographers worldwide, the exhibition showcases the artistic documentation of Brasilia, capturing its unique character, essence, and architectural intricacies. The exhibition features a mesmerizing collection of photographs that depict symbolic palaces such as the Parliament, the President residence, the President office, the Ministries, and a significant number of apartment buildings. Brasilia was declared the capital of Brazil in place of Rio-de-Janeiro in 1960. Its architectural marvel has given a new dimension to the urban landscape of Brazil.
